We’ve Been Nominated for a National Comms Award!

We’re thrilled to announce that, alongside our client Sarcoma UK, we’ve been shortlisted for the CharityComms 2024 Inspiring Communicator Award!

The CharityComms Inspiring Communicator Awards (ICAs) celebrate those whose services to charity communications go above and beyond, highlighting charities and their inspirational agency partners’ use of communications for a cause or charity. We have been jointly shortlisted with Sarcoma UK in the Best Collaboration (Agency and Charity) category, for our ‘Don’t Delay’ awareness-raising campaign to promote this year’s Sarcoma Awareness Month.

Our ‘Don’t Delay’ campaign launched in July this year, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis of sarcoma, a rare type of cancer, through intriguing and powerful visuals featuring a series of individuals affected by sarcoma holding up placards displaying how many days it took them to receive an initial diagnosis. The month-long national campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and provide critical information, as well as connecting those impacted by sarcoma, with over 30 supporters participating in the ‘Don’t Delay’ photoshoot.

Our co-founder and Account & Strategy Director James said: “We are incredibly proud to have secured a place on the Best Collaboration category shortlist together with Sarcoma UK and it’s a real milestone moment for Awesomesauce Marketing. The Awesomesauce team has several personal connections to Sarcoma UK. This in-depth knowledge and a desire to support those affected by sarcoma brings us closer to the charity’s purpose and objectives. We couldn’t be prouder of our work for Sarcoma Awareness Month this year, and we’re passionate about the impact created through this creative collaboration. Sarcoma UK is a national charity which supports anyone affected by sarcoma, a rare type of cancer. By advocating for better treatments and supporting groundbreaking research, Sarcoma UK is a beacon of hope for those facing this challenging diagnosis.

We couldn’t be prouder of our work with Sarcoma UK and we’re passionate about the impact we’ve created through this partnership for the last few years. Since 2021 we have worked with the charity on multiple projects, from their new website to their digital memory wall and Sarcoma Awareness Month campaigns for the last two years.
