Nisbets is a leading multi-national provider of catering equipment and consumables to the professional hospitality sector, with operations in the UK and Europe, and subsidiary companies in India, China, Australia and New Zealand. As a market-leader, Nisbets offers the widest product range and knowledgeable customer service advisors, reaching hundreds of thousands of customers.

In the UK and Ireland, Nisbets supports hospitality professionals through its extensive online shop and over 20 retail stores nationwide.

Why Awesomesauce?

Nisbets UK & Ireland needed a marketing agency to create a national CRM campaign to speak to existing customers and prospects, demonstrating the steps the business has taken to improve their product range, pricing and service, in order to improve customer satisfaction and increase order numbers and values.

They needed a full-service yet agile marketing agency who could turn around this campaign quickly and efficiently. As a UK-based agency with B2B marketing expertise, Awesomesauce Marketing offered what Nisbets were looking for.

From idea generation to campaign creation, they collaborated with us to deliver outstanding design and copywriting services to support our objectives.

Adding Some Sauce

We kickstarted this project with a collaborative meeting with the Nisbets team to understand their objectives and the key messages they needed to get across as part of the campaign. We then developed six campaign concepts with varying strategic approaches for consideration.

The Nisbets team selected the campaign theme ‘We’ve Listened’ which focuses on the fact that Nisbets has taken on board what their customers want and taken action to make improvements and meet customer needs.

The ‘We’ve Listened’ campaign was further developed focusing on the key pillars of product, price and service, and several designs were created to underline the campaign messaging with bold creative. It was supported by a tactical execution plan across digital and print media, including email, website and social media, as well as direct mail and catalogue content. The internal comms strategy was developed simultaneously, including a presentation, intranet comms and an email footer, to maximise employee engagement and buy in.

After the client had selected a preferred design and signed off the campaign strategy, our team provided copywriting services for the internals comms and customer emails which launched the campaign, ensuring the tone of voice was on brand, customer friendly and conveyed the desired messaging.

The Awesomesauce team delivered the full campaign from ideation to strategy, messaging, design and copywriting, underlining Nisbets’ position as an industry leader and adopting a customer-first approach.

The campaign launched with an email from Frankie Adams, Managing Director for Nisbets UK & Ireland, demonstrating the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. To maximise the use of Nisbets’ comprehensive first-party data, the next phase of the campaign consisted of three further emails, each focusing on one of the key pillars.

Our campaign concept ensured that customers felt listened to and that they understood the business had taken steps to improve their product offering, price and service. The design had a look and feel that was consistent with Nisbets’ brand identity and emphasised the key pillars of product, price and service.
