Agility EOR: Strategy and Branding

Marketing strategy and rebrand to prepare business for growth phase

The Brand

As a global Employer of Record (EOR) provider, Agility EOR offers comprehensive services tailored to each client’s needs, including hiring and onboarding employees, managing global payroll and ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

Agility approached us as a startup business without any marketing expertise internally. They were looking for marketing experts who would integrate into their team, shape their marketing strategy and lead all marketing activities.

Why Awesomesauce?

As a small team of EOR experts, Agility needed a marketing agency which offered a full range of services and would lead their marketing strategy to allow their existing team to focus on what they do best – EOR.

We pitched for the business and were delighted that the Agility team trusted us to partner with them during a key growth phase. They wanted us to become part of their team and work collaboratively to lead their marketing strategy and implement strong fundamentals to help them take their business from the startup phase into the growth phase of their development.

They became an integral part of our team, driving our new brand identity, social strategy and content creation. Just awesome!

Adding Some Sauce

We started our research phase with a collaborative workshop with the Agility team, to understand their target customer, values, USPs, services, objectives and current marketing activities. This enabled us to prioritise and come up with the best marketing plan to support their goals.

We quickly determined that we needed to evolve their brand identity so it would resonate with their target audience. The company’s initial branding had served them well through their startup phase and really represented the business’s founders, but we identified an opportunity to improve brand appeal to support the next phase of business growth.

After running the in-depth workshop to really understand who the brand’s target audience were, we created customer profiles and developed a strategy and marketing plan for the first year.

Our approach involved an initial evolution of the brand to reflect its values, target customer and what made it different from its competitors, before we moved to the amplify phase of the plan which focused on business growth.

Agility really understood the value of our approach and we proceeded with the rebrand which consisted of a new visual brand identity including logo and strapline, and tone of voice and social media guidelines, readying the business for its next phase.

Awesome Results from Branding

Our extensive research enabled us to create customer profiles and highlighted that the Agility audience skewed more towards a female demographic, making it a key consideration when creating the new brand identity.

We also focused on underlining what makes Agility different from their competitors. While many EORs rely heavily on automation, Agility tailors services to each individual client. Their team pride themselves on their bespoke, customer-centric approach, providing a dedicated point of contact and prioritising long-term client relationships. We embedded these core messages in the brand identity and key messages, giving prospects compelling reasons to choose Agility.

By creating the new identity we were able to ensure a consistent look and feel across collateral developed, providing continuity not only on Agility’s public-facing channels, but also across presentations and business proposals as the company entered its next growth phase.

We became part of Agility’s core team, to enable their existing team to focus on the operational side of the business while we took care of marketing. Our collaboration helped Agility successfully prepare for its next phase.
